Fredrik leads our European team and our global Strategy Practice. Based in our Stockholm office, he has led strategy, M&A and transformation efforts across telecoms, digital infrastructure, software, IT services, space, defence, manufacturing and other technology-intensive sectors across over 30 countries.
He has over 25 years of experience and has worked extensively with businesses, sovereign wealth funds, private-equity firms and governments, as well as non-profit organisations. Over many years, he has been deeply engaged in industry-shaping M&A, investor-led investments and technology-led transformations. His role at Analysys Mason builds on his time as a Senior Partner at McKinsey & Co in Singapore and later at BCG in Sweden, where he primarily served TMT clients and private-equity investors.
In addition to advising clients on strategy, M&A and transformation, he has also led sustainability work for businesses, investors and non-profit organisations. His main passion and expertise in sustainability work is ocean policy and development as well as the transformation of the global food system.
Throughout his career, he has been driven by the joy of working closely with engaged and motivated people, exploring complex problems, and executing ambitious transformations, such as launching new products and services or merging companies.
Fredrik’s goal is to support promising technology companies, ambitious management teams, and leading investors in maximising their impact and realising their full potential, while growing our teams and capabilities.
Fredrik holds a Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration from the Stockholm School of Economics, including a second-year MBA exchange semester at UCLA Anderson Graduate School of Management.
