Katharina is a Manager based in Analysys Mason's Bonn office, where she helps utilities and telecoms operators turn complex change into practical, lasting results. She specialises in business and IT transformation, guiding large-scale programmes from the business perspective: defining requirements, steering migration and business readiness, and keeping stakeholders aligned. Alongside transformation, she brings strong expertise in pricing and customer value management, process optimisation, and the design of flexible steering models.
She is drawn to projects where business and technology meet and where good decisions depend on shared, data-driven insights. Her utilities work is built around pricing and customer base management, CRM and campaign-management platforms, and flexible steering models for planning and forecasting. Her telecoms work is built around requirements definitions and programme assurance for large-scale IT transformations. Across both, she translates business intent into technical delivery so decisions can be made on shared evidence. What she values most is enabling ownership at every level by giving teams the clarity and tools to make sound decisions for themselves.
Katharina studied Industrial Engineering at htw saar (Germany), with a thesis on the profitability of biogas plants across European countries, and went on to complete a Master's degree in Environmental Engineering and Resource Management at Ruhr University Bochum –with a focus on both Energy and Business. A consulting internship during her Master's degree became the bridge to her next role: 4 years with a German services business, helping shape a new venture in a broad operational role, before joining Analysys Mason in 2018. She is fluent in German and English, and she speaks working-level French.
Outside of work, Katharina recharges with pilates and high-intensity workouts, and is a big lover of everything to do with good food. Both at and away from work, she is drawn to the same thing: collaborating with people and improving things together. It is what shapes how she approaches every client relationship.
