Lorcan has consulted on a wide range of projects across the telecoms, media and technology industries. His areas of expertise include transaction support, business planning, technology strategy, technical assurance, radio planning and geographical information systems (GIS). His clients include investors, fixed and mobile telecoms operators, regulators, public-sector organisations and central and local government. Lorcan lead the intervention-area-definition workstreams for a number of major next-generation broadband projects and technical workstreams on multi-market mobile tower transactions. Prior to joining Analysys Mason, Lorcan chaired and managed the working group tasked with investigating and providing recommendations for the Irish digital-terrestrial television service. Lorcan has also worked as part of our Research segment, focusing on telecoms software. Lorcan holds a BE in Electronic Engineering from University College Dublin and an MBA from the Michael Smurfit Graduate School of Business.
