TMT businesses operate at two speeds: they need to be swift and agile to delight customers today, while at the same time planning years into the future to stay at the forefront of innovation and deliver returns on ambitious capex projects. AI plays a pivotal role in giving decision-makers confidence to transform their business operations.
Paul is a Director working within our Transformation practice. He supports clients throughout the world with major business and IT change. More and more this involves addressing the issues, opportunities and risks presented by artificial intelligence (AI) and cyber security.
Starting out as an engineer, Paul progressed through programme and product management into marketing, before specialising in technology-enabled business transformation. He helped develop the UK’s first mobile payments solution with Orange (and Barclaycard) and played a pivotal role in the launch of the UK’s first 3G network as Head of Product at 3. He subsequently led the Product and Device business for EE supporting the introduction of 4G in the UK.
Paul’s goal is to help organisations improve their ability to deliver change, develop new capabilities and to create real value from transformation programmes. He enjoys helping companies translate new technologies into better value for end-users and richer customer experience.
Paul’s enthusiasm for technology-enabled change extends beyond his professional life: he is a non-executive advisor on the Council of the UK’s lifeboat service (RNLI), helping it implement the right technologies and systems to support its life-saving work. Paul also supports Bath Rugby Foundation, which uses sport to help disadvantaged and disabled children and young people achieve their full potential.
