The space sector is evolving, and faster than ever. Many operators and manufacturers are unsure about what to do next, and I am glad to be able to use my experience in the sector to support them.
Yann is a manager in Analysys Mason’s Space practice and is part of our consulting team. He has over 10 years’ experience in the space sector and has supported both public institutions and commercial organisations.
He has worked extensively with public organisations, in particular the European Commission and the European Space Agency. These organisations play a crucial role in developing space programmes that benefit society – for example, through Earth observation data, positioning, navigation and timing (PNT) signals and secure connectivity. He has closely supported public organisations’ strategic planning, their assessment of socio-economic benefits and their evaluation of supply chain risks in the context of European sovereignty.
In addition, Yann has helped a range of private venture clients define their corporate strategies and respond to changes in the space market. He has worked across the value chain for clients worldwide, from component manufacturers to satellite integrators, operators, launch vehicle manufacturers and downstream service providers. He leads projects involving market sizing, growth strategy and go-to-market development, portfolio analysis and business planning.
Yann is an aerospace engineer, which supports his understanding of many of his clients’ products and technologies. He is fascinated by space exploration and is excited by the prospect of seeing humans return to the Moon.
