This data file provides detailed estimates of national investment in data centre capacity in Africa, Asia–Pacific, Europe and the Middle East. It provides estimates of current operational data centres as well as announced future data centres (in the development pipeline) for 140 countries. For more than 95 countries, the data file provides estimates of total and IT floorspace as well as total and IT power capacity – for data centres in operation, planned or under construction. These metrics are broken down by data centre size and the different investor types that own the data centres.
