National data centre development pipelines 2Q 2026

This data file tracks the pipeline of announced data centre projects in countries in Asia–Pacific, Europe and the Middle East and Africa. It provides counts of operational data centres, as well as counts of announced future data centres (the development pipeline).

For more than 95 countries, the data file also includes estimates of total and IT floorspace, alongside total and IT power capacity, for operational data centres and announced facilities that are either in the early stages of planning or under construction.

These metrics are broken down by facility size and by the investor types that own, or will invest in, the data centres. These figures are not forecasts of capacity; instead, they capture the announced project pipeline as we currently understand it.

Data is provided for 95 countries across the following regions.

• Developed Asia–Pacific (DVAP)
• Emerging Asia–Pacific (EMAP)
• Middle East and North Africa (MENA)
• Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA)
