The benefits of SaaS for CSPs’ network automation and orchestration deployments
03 November 2022 | Research and Insights
Strategy report | PPTX and PDF (11 slides) | Network Automation and Orchestration
Communications service providers (CSPs) are looking for new ways to reduce their costs and the operational complexity of their network management systems. Vendors can help CSPs to fulfil these goals by expanding their solutions portfolios to include a SaaS deployment model, which CSPs can adopt to move their network control, orchestration and management systems to cloud-native, microservices-based delivery models.
Take-up of SaaS within the network automation and orchestration (NAO) segment has been low compared with other segments because CSPs have concerns about its viability for network-centric functions. Vendors should focus on demonstrating the viability of SaaS for IT-centric functions.
Information included in this report
- Analysis of how SaaS solutions can address the increasing complexity of network management and orchestrations
- Detailed insights to help CSPs formulate their own NAO strategies
