Rohan leads Analysys Mason's consulting practice across the Middle East and India (South Asia). He has over 18 years' experience of advising corporations and investors in the telecoms, media and technology industry on strategic and operational issues. He has extensive experience of working in developed markets such as the USA, Europe and the Middle East, as well as developing markets in Asia, Africa and Latin America.
Rohan is a subject-matter expert on C-level strategy issues affecting the telecoms and digital media sectors. Within telecoms, Rohan's expertise spans topics such as growth strategy, mergers and acquisitions, 5G, the Internet of Things, digital services strategy, mobile network models – including active and passive sharing – and operational transformation. His media and digital expertise includes areas such as convergence and triple-play pricing, as well as due diligence and strategy projects across various digital sub-sectors such as e-commerce, over-the-top content and health-tech.
Prior to joining Analysys Mason, Rohan was a senior member of Monitor Deloitte's Telecom and Media Strategy group in New York. While there, his clients included four of the five largest telecoms companies in the USA, a large media conglomerate in the Americas, the largest major music label worldwide, as well as media and telecoms companies in Latin America and Europe.
Rohan holds an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University USA, having been a dean’s merit scholar there, and a BA in Telecommunication Engineering from R.V. College of Engineering, India. Rohan spends his time serving clients across the Middle East and Asia.
