Ujjwal is a Partner based in our New Delhi office. He is a seasoned strategist with over 17 years of experience advising global private equity funds, hedge funds and technology platforms across transactions and digital strategy. He currently leads the firm’s strategic expansion into the consumer internet sector worldwide.
His expertise lies in navigating the complexities of the digital economy, specifically focusing on market sizing, competitive positioning, forecasts and modelling, and consumer behaviour within the internet ecosystem. Ujjwal has a proven track record in transaction advisory, having led over 100 high-stakes commercial due diligence mandates. He excels at helping investors and corporate leaders identify sustainable value by digging deep into cohorts, retention metrics and the underlying unit economics of B2C and B2B2C platforms.
Prior to joining Analysys Mason, Ujjwal was a Partner at Redseer Strategy Consultants. During his tenure, he led marquee strategy engagements for global decacorns and played a pivotal role in major retail acquisitions, including high-profile cross-border deals. His background also includes entrepreneurial experience as the founder of an e-healthcare start-up, which he led through a successful M&A.
Ujjwal holds a B.Tech. from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi. Outside of his professional mandates, he is a dedicated fitness enthusiast who follows a disciplined strength-training regimen. He is also passionate about experimenting with heart-healthy, high-protein nutrition and enjoys spending time with his family, including his two young kids.
