Interoperability, openness and partnerships are needed to drive the maturity of multi-vendor 5G core
The transition to 5G standalone (SA) and a service-based architecture (SBA) opens up the opportunity for operators to adopt a multi-vendor core network. Multi-vendor core could provide a competitive advantage for both operators and some vendors, however take-up so far has been slow and more can be done to drive its adoption.
