Analysys Mason’s latest SaaS forecast indicates that the global SaaS market will grow strongly between 2022 and 2027. This growth will largely be driven by an increasing number of software-as-a-service (SaaS) deployments in the business support services (BSS) space, with the adoption of operation support services (OSS) lagging behind despite strong growth. SaaS will account for 22% of OSS/BSS revenue by 2027, which is equivalent to a CAGR of 18% over the forecast period. The growth of SaaS-related revenue will be driven by a shift to cloud-native networks, as well as the need to improve the time-to-market for new deployments and increase the productivity of internal IT staff.
