T-Mobile announced in March 2023 that it had reached an agreement to acquire budget prepaid wireless operator Mint Mobile as part of a larger deal involving the acquisition Ka’ena Corporation. This acquisition signals T-Mobile’s intention to reinforce its position in the US prepaid market, where new opportunities are emerging.
