Our 5G network cloud deployment tracker collates data on the publicly announced cloud-based 5G core and vRAN/Open RAN commercial deals between vendors and operators.
We have categorised each operator's commercial deployments according to one of the following models, based on which vendors are supplying key elements of the network cloud (network functions (CNF/VNF), cloud stack (CaaS/IaaS) and cloud hardware):
- vertically integrated stack
- DIY private cloud
- public cloud provider (PCP) cloud platform
- operator-packaged platform.
