Tracker | Excel | Defence and Sovereign Space

The space industry is becoming a priority for civil governments and defence organisations, who are increasingly looking to obtain sovereign capabilities across all segments. This tracker explores major civil government and defence space programmes and contracts across 40 countries and organisations worldwide. The defence programmes and contracts focus mainly on NATO members and partner states.

The tracker provides details including:

  • the contract type (procurement or service)
  • whether the programme is part of an umbrella initiative such as the US Golden Dome
  • the domain that the programme focuses on (such as satellite or a ground station)
  • who the prime contractor and known sub-contractors are
  • the value of the contract/programme in USD
  • the timeframe for the contract/programme
  • further contextual details.

This information will offer the reader insights into the status of each country or organisation’s space capabilities. We will add contractual updates to the tracker as they are announced.
