Many operators have created subsidiaries out of their towers, and many of these have sold a stake. Now the same trend appears to be emerging with FTTH networks. This report looks at the logic of doing this now and outlines the pros and cons, as well as the alternatives that are available.
This report provides:
- an account of the emerging trend by FTTH players to carve out subsidiaries that own FTTH networks, and to sell minority stakes in these networks to a range of third parties
- an assessment of the risks and benefits of doing so for established operators.
