Key features of the Analysys Mason DataHub

The Telecoms dataset has around 2150 metrics in the Telecoms actuals and Telecoms forecasts tabs, providing data on the commercial activity of telecommunications operators. Financial values are available in USD, EUR or local currency.
The IT dataset contains forecasts of business spending on ICT, with around 120 000 metrics available in total.
The Space includes nearly 4000 metrics from 18 forecast reports on the satellite and space industries.
You can view on-screen charts to analyse trends and make comparisons between markets and operators, export your data to Excel and save and reload your saved searches.
Report landing pages on the Analysys Mason website include direct links to the DataHub and the data for each report.

Enhanced DataHub, featuring the Space dataset

On 13 July 2026, we released a new version of the Analysys Mason DataHub, featuring extensive data from the Space research practice alongside other interface improvements. We have introduced colour-coding across each of the datasets and in the supporting materials, and the dataset tabs have been reordered to reflect the expanded range of content.

The most significant changes in this release are summarised below.

The addition of the extensive Space dataset. The Space dataset includes nearly 4000 metrics from 18 forecast reports on the satellite and space industries.
The IT dataset is the new name for the SMB Technology Forecaster. You can view the data associated with each IT module using data views, which slice the data into topic-based sections.
The Telecoms dataset is the new name for the Telco portal. The Telecoms actuals tab now includes data views, which allows you to quickly access topic-specific slices of the dataset, such as Financial KPIs.

Next update

In late September 2026, the Telecoms dataset will be updated with core historical data to 2Q 2026 for all the countries that we cover. We will also update the fixed–mobile convergence (FMC) tracker to 2Q 2026. The release will also include new core forecasts for North America (NA) based on 1Q 2026 data, and pay-TV forecasts for emerging Asia–Pacific.

The next DataHub update will also include an update to the Space dataset with an updated Satellite Capacity supply and demand forecast.

Notes on recent updates

The Analysys Mason DataHub was last updated on 8 September 2026, with new releases in the Telecoms, IT and Space datasets. See below for details of the latest changes to each dataset.

Telecoms dataset (last updated September 2026)

This release includes new core forecasts for emerging Asia–Pacific (EMAP) and developed Asia–Pacific (DVAP), based on 1Q 2026 data. It also includes refreshed core forecasts for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), Western Europe (WE) and Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). The business forecasts were fully updated for MENA, and the Worldwide core and business forecast results were updated to reflect all the regional changes.

TThe release also introduces the metric name changes listed below. While the metric definitions remain unchanged, the names have been updated to better reflect what each metric covers.

Mobile – handset becomes Mobile – handset services
Mobile – data becomes Mobile – data-only services

'Refreshed' indicates a minor change to an existing dataset and ‘NEW’ indicates a full new version.
Core and topic forecasts in the Telecoms dataset have different update cycles. These publication dates reflect the latest changes to the Telecoms core forecasts. Full details of the coverage and vintage of each dataset element can be found in the downloadable Excel Analysys Mason DataHub full metrics lists file or the at-a-glance dataset coverage and versions summary.

IT dataset (last updated September 2026)

Data for all geographies was updated in August 2026 and is based on 1Q 2026 historical data.

Space dataset (last updated September 2026)

The Space dataset now includes data for the latest version of the Maritime satellite communications market forecast. This data has been released ahead of publication of the accompanying report.

Please note that the Earth Observation research programme has been renamed to Space Data and AI (as of 21 July 2026).

The Space dataset includes data from 18 forecast reports from the Space research practice. The next table shows the latest version of each report present in the DataHub in descending order of publication date.
