Karthik is a Principal Analyst based in New York and leads the SMB Technology Forecaster team. His skills include forecasting, data analysis and product development. He has over 10 years of experience tracking the IT buying behaviours of small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs).
His primary role is to quantify SMBs’ IT buying trends and build a model that both monitors current expenditure across different IT categories and forecasts future spending. He helps vendors, operators and channel partners to assess opportunities and identify growth areas within the SMB market.
He is passionate about SMBs and never wastes an opportunity to highlight that SMBs are the invisible backbone of the economy.
Karthik holds an MBA from Hult International Business School. He also received a Master of Science degree in economics and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in electronics and instrumentation from BITS Pilani, India.
He is a DIY enthusiast with his own idiom, "If it ain’t broke, then do something". He also enjoys playing soccer and travelling.
