B2B revenue growth fell for most operators in 1H 2025, though some players saw an increase of more than 5%

Telecoms operators’ B2B revenue growth varied significantly in 1H 2025; the average growth rate worldwide was 0.8% year-on-year. This is much lower than the 5.8% average growth rate reported by our sample of operators in 2021. However, not all operators are struggling to the same extent; some achieved growth rates of over 5% in 1H 2025.

The operators that achieved the highest B2B revenue growth reported a variety of drivers of this trend. IT services were one of the most commonly cited growth drivers, particularly cloud and security services, but there were other factors too.
