Ericsson is helping communications service providers (CSPs) adopt cloud-native automation (CNA) in the 5G core while Ericsson cautiously investigates CNA's potential for orchestration and within the RAN. Having already embraced Kubernetes and CI/CD toolchains and processes, Ericsson is now in the process of integrating a partial GitOps approach with the use of Kubernetes operators.
