Analysys Mason's Communications service provider network API exposure platform and use case tracker provides information on publicly announced deals between communications service providers (CSPs) and network API exposure platform vendors. We also track CSPs' in-house network API developments.
We have defined a 'network API exposure platform' as being either an API marketplace/aggregation platform or a service exposure platform (the aggregation platform for all internal network APIs prior to being exposed on a marketplace/aggregation platform).
All data in this tracker is based on publicly available press releases, case studies, news reports and company website material. The tracker also specifies if the announcements are currently commercial, a trial or pre-commercial (with concrete plans to commercialise in the near future), or if a memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed.
The following information is provided about each partnership/announcement
- CSP name
- Deployment region and country
- Network API exposure platform vendor name
- Number of network APIs launched, and if they are based on GSMA Open Gateway specifications
- If the APIs released are part of a multi-CSP collaboration
- Names of the network APIs launched
- Use cases
- Network domain(s)
- Which marketplace is being used
- Description of announcement
- Sources
- Original announcement date
