"Customers are more tolerant of price rises than previously and operators can benefit from this."

This report uses the results of Analysys Mason’s annual consumer survey to analyse the price of fixed broadband services in Asia–Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and North America.

The survey was conducted in association with Dynata in July and August 2025. The survey groups were chosen to be representative of the internet-using population in the above-mentioned regions. We set quotas on age, gender and geographical spread to that effect. There were at least 750 respondents per country.

This report provides details on:

  • the importance of price in selecting a broadband service
  • how customers would respond to a hypothetical price rise of 5% or 10%
  • how this response to a price rise varies by country, spend, satisfaction and tenure
  • overall satisfaction with price and how is this evolving over time.
