Network and service APIs: implications for CSPs’ operational systems

Many communications services providers’ (CSPs’) and OSS/BSS vendors’ operational systems and services are currently being exposed through APIs, which are often managed by standalone, quick-fix solutions. However, this approach may lead to increased complexity in the future. CSPs must adopt a more-holistic strategy for API management.
