For fixed-network operators, we have helped define their new business strategies, optimise their service portfolio and strengthen their position in the market. We have advised incumbents, new entrant and alternative operators, and cable operators, based on a deep understanding of the dynamics of the fixed sector, our rigorous analytical approach, and an international perspective derived from our global client base.

We have worked with, and continute to work with, the boards of leading mobile operators in the industry on key strategic and operational problems to help set appropriate direction for their businesses. We also support mobile operators with the strategic decision on whether to host MVNOs and the determination of wholesale prices for voice and data services, based on our detailed understanding of network costs and economics.

We also help organisations with the decision of whether to become an MVNO, including the identification of the appropriate market-entry strategy and the development of a long-term business plan. We can lead or assist during negotiations with potential host mobile operators. Our team has worked with a vast range of MVNO entrants representing many industries, including retail, automobile, Internet, utility, fixed-operator and media companies.

Regulators

Analysys Mason assists regulators and policy makers navigate a communications market characterised by rapid changes in technology, business models, content delivery and industry structure. Over the last ten years Analysys Mason has undertaken projects for the top three operators in both the fixed and mobile satellite sectors, as well as a number of the leading regional operators.
