2012 is set to be an interesting year in the telecoms industry. The European and US market for many core telecoms and media services – such as fixed broadband, voice and pay TV – is saturating. As a result, customer satisfaction and retention – which have always been important – have become critical.
To maintain an up-to-date snapshot of consumer usage and demand, Analysys Mason's annual Connected Consumer Survey tracks the telecoms and media usage of consumers in six European markets – Denmark, France, Germany, Poland, Spain and the UK – as well as the USA.
With more than 7000 respondents, the survey enables us to identify trends not just in individual countries, but also among different age groups, genders, household situations, income levels and industries. We can even tell you what your customers think about your services and – possibly more importantly – what your competitors’ customers think about theirs.
Six reports feature detailed analysis of the survey results
The first report provides a high-level review of the key trends observed across all of the consumer telecoms sectors we cover. Subsequent reports focus on a specific aspect of telecoms and media usage or particular markets.
